The Society for Grating Anachronism is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to educating the mundane world about the European Middle Ages.
Though we define the Middle Ages as Europe during the time from the fall of the Roman Empire to the general use of gunpowder, we welcome visitors from as far back as the Early Neolithic Period and as late as the Boer War. (The Late Paleolithic Period and the Spanish Civil War, however, are just too far outside our scope. Sorry, but we have to draw the line somewhere.)
Though we define Europe as Europe, we also welcome visitors from as far away as Iceland, Portugal, Germany, and Japan. (Africa, the Americas, India, and the Byzantine empire, however, are too far outisde our scope. Sorry, but we have to draw the line somewhere.)
