Introduction

This description contains frank language and explicit illustrations. It is intended for the athletic trainer who will be fitting the Viriguard. All illustrations were made using an adult to model the Viriguard.

The Viriguard comes with parts which you permanently fasten together while fitting it to the athlete. Though the procedure is slightly complex, it ensures a comfortable fit as well as complete security against all tampering. For the comfort and safety of the young athlete, Purity Athletic recommends that you wear examination gloves during the installation.

Preparation

Prepared for Viriguard Installation

To install the Viriguard, have the athlete strip naked from the waist down and stand before you with his hands behind his back. It may help to have an assistant hold the young athlete from behind. Alternatively, Purity Athletic also provides various restraints for use with those young men who have not developed the self-discipline necessary during this procedure.

In case the young athlete develops an erection during this process, Purity Athletic provides a kit containing frightening medical instruments. Open the kit, being certain that the young athlete sees its contents. The collection of hypodermic needles, suture needles, surgical clamps, and urethral sounds in sterile packages will most likely cause him to lose his erection.

If desired, the athletes pubic hair should be clipped off. Many installers find that electric barber clippers do a quick and adequate job, The Viriguard installation kit includes a hypoallergenic, tissue friendly surgical glue which meets all FDA requirements. Removal of pubic hair is completed strictly for the benefit of the recipient. Otherwise, excess adhesive can clot pubic hair defeating the comfort benefits of Viriguard.

Fitting

First you must fit the waistband. It is made of a three inch stainless steel band encased in a hypoallergenic plastic covering. It comes in two varieties: fixed size for athletes older than about eighteen years, and with elastic ends for younger athletes who are still growing. The waistband attaches in front to a belly plate.

Draw the athlete’s genitals through the hole near the bottom end of the belly plate. Second, align the belly plate with the two ends of the waist band. The temporary dowels in the belly plate help properly align the ends. Use the special Viriguard tool to determine the correct length for the waistband, which should be snug and ride above the athlete’s hips: it must not be able to slide down over the hips! Finally use the special Viriguard tool to permanently fasten the waistband to the belly plate.

Warning: Once fastened together, removing the waistband and belly plate is extremely difficult. Be sure they are fitted properly before fastening.

Attached to the bottom end of the belly plate are two leg straps. Attach these to the marked points on the left and right sides of the waistband with the Viriguard tool, making sure they are correctly tight. The basic structure of the Viriguard is now complete.

Urinal Sheath

Using the enclosed measuring rings and ruler, measure the circumference and length of the athlete’s flaccid penis.

Select the proper size urinal tube from the Institutional Viriguard Kit. Place the thick rubber conical end of the urinal over the head of the penis, making sure that the arrow points in the direction of the athlete’s navel. If the athlete is not circumcised, then pull back the foreskin to completely reveal the head. Slowly unroll the sheath, making sure that the adhesive makes proper contact with the shaft of the penis. Proper fit is extremely important. When you near the end of the sheath, a loop of plastic will appear. Draw this back and hook it over the formed rim around the bottom edge of the hole in the belly plate.

Protective Cup

Test-fit a Viriguard Cup over the belly plate and the athlete’s genitals. It should not bind, and the cup should meet the belly plate without gaps. The sheath has two tube fittings, one for cleansing water and one for urine outflow. Remove the cup and attach the urinal sheath to the tube connectors inside the cup. Place the cup’s foam rubber insert around the athlete’s genitals and push the cup down onto the belly plate. The snap contacts will engage, providing a preliminary closure. You will notice that the cup completely covers the rivets connecting the belly plate to the waistband.

Finish Installation

Finally, using the Viriguard electric screwdriver, tighten the eight snap-head screws though the pre-drilled holes in the cup to the belly plate. When the proper torque is reached, the heads of the screws will break off, leaving no surface for any screwdriver or other tool to gain purchase.

At this point, you may want to reassure the athlete that the Viriguard is now permanently in place and that his genitals are now protected from all harm. You may reinforce this notion by slapping his Viriguard. You need not be gentle, for the Viriguard distributes the impact to the athlete’s pubic bone, protecting his genitals.

The knowledge that he is “invincible” will make him fearless and more aggressive in whatever sports he engages in. Moreover, the athlete will also be fully protected from his own exploring hands. The Viriguard effectively prevents all contact with the genitals: you can rest assured that your prized athletes, no matter how hard they try, will not be able to misspend their energies or sap their strength or bodily fluids through illicit sexual activity.

Meanwhile, the urinal sheath and its connection to a tube through the cup allow the athletes to urinate as was their habit before wearing the Viriguard—even standing up. In addition, the cleansing water connection allows your athletes to wash themselves thoroughly in the groin area without touching themselves or wasting their energies or bodily fluids.

Removal

To remove the Viriguard, whether to replace it with a larger one as the boy grows or in an emergency, use the supplied drill bit with integrated spacing collar in the Viriguard installation tool. This will drill away the remaining screw head, allowing the cup to be removed.

If the exposed screws are carefully removed, the belly-plate can be reused. Purity Athletic recommends that all parts should be washed before re-use. A new urinal sheath should be used.
