The Kisan pathBlazer makes the headlamp filcker at 4 cycles per second during the day when the brights are on. It uses a photocell to sense daylight. It is a little box with screw terminals on two ends. You cut the wiring harness, strip the wires, and screw them into the terminals. I installed it in the space under the headlight box.
On my GS, the wires in the appropriate cable had these color codes:
The photocell has a wite about 18" long. I taped the photocell to the top front of the instrument housing, pointing upwards. There's plenty of room behind the fairing, and it's quite unobtrusive there.
There is a modular version of the pathBlazer that simply plugs in between the headlight and the original wiring harness. This allows you to install it without cutting any wires. However, there's not enough room in the GS's headlight box for anything other than the headlight.
