When the brakes are applied the tailBlazer makes the stop light flicker for a few seconds, then turns them on continuously. There's enough room behind the R1100GS's taillight, but it's a real bear to get to and the wiring there isn't very convenient.

I installed the tailBlazer in the wiring harness on the right side of the frame next to the tool box. This picture shows the tailBlazer unit wired up but not closed up or wire-tied in place:

The tailBlazer fits snugly between the frame, the fender, and the tool box.

On my GS, the wires in the appropriate cable had these color codes:

• grey-yellow - brake light
• grey-black - tail light
• fat brown - brake/tail light ground
• blue - turn signal (untouched)
• blue-grey - other turn signal (untouched)
• thin brown - turn signal light ground (untouched)
• thin brown - other turn signal light ground (untouched)
